We tend to think of time linearly and therefore we are driven toward the next moment, the next thing, the next event, believing that the nxt moment will be better than the current one. So we strive and drive through life to get to the right job, to meet the right person, to have the better thing. We step each step with our mind on the next and as we progress, obsessed with next, we get to a place where next is death… and suddenly we don’t want next.
We look back and say, “Where did it go? Why didn’t I live?” Because when we are not present, when we focus on next, we are not living. If we are not in presence, it doesn’t matter where we are, we are lost. No matter our job, our relationships, our family, our wealth or prestige, we feel unsettled, like we haven’t arrived.
But regardless of where on our journey we are, when we are present, we find ourselves; we feel satiated and oriented. We are not lost. Present means grounded and rooted, planted in a place beyond the map. When you are present, the map moves under you. Time moves under you. You stay present. It’s in the presence that you are not lost. It’s because you are present that you live and love to live.
Understanding the Law of Attraction is understanding that you are still and in place, and it’s by intention you move the map. Without first becoming fully present, and then layering on intention, the map will always orient under you. You’ve experienced this all those times you have tried to move and change, to take steps, to move forward, and you find that you end up in the same place of dissatisfaction. Your life situation may have changed, but you are somehow in the same place. The map is orienting under you to try to align with your beliefs of who you are. If you believe you are lost, it will orient and align with lost. It is only when you realize that you are connected to something beyond the map that you can situate it so that you are aligned with true happiness, peace, joy and you feel finally satisfied.
First is presence. BE.
Second is intention. DO
Third is reaping the benefits. HAVE.
Our culture teaches us backwards. We learn that we have to DO – strive, drive, work, and suffer, in order to HAVE – the job, the partnership, the wealth, the stuff, so that we can BE – happy, fulfilled, and peaceful. That’s bullocks.
By first being, we do because we are. Because we are doing from a place of being, we receive. No struggle, no strife. Being fully present, every action is out of joy and desire to act,and from that we attain abundance with little effort.
The Be, Do, Have program teaches presence, acceptance and gratitude to truly ground you; meditation, goal setting, and aligned action to move the map; and expanding freedom, joy and abundance to live daily in your greatest life.
